At present, New Channel Wellness is in-network with some United Healthcare Plans and the VA Community Care Program only. Please view information below for specific information about your provider. For all out-of-network plans that cover acupuncture, payment is due at time of service. Staff can provide you with necessary documents to obtain reimbursement from your provider upon request.

UNITED HEALTH CARE
You will be prompted to provide your plan information when you schedule your first appointment. Staff will provide you with information about number of visits covered, copays and deductible information, and your financial responsibility for each visit.
VA COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM
In-Network. Prior Authorization Required
The VA Community Care Program provides 100% coverage for acupuncture treatment for chronic pain, back pain, post-traumatic stress disorder and other chronic and acute conditions. Consult with your physician at the Durham VA to obtain authorization and determine medical necessity for your condition.
SELF PAY

At New Channel Wellness treatment is results-focused: To guarantee preferred appointment time to patients who commit to the recommended treatment plan to obtain results, pre-paid treatment plans are offered (and recommended). Pre-paid plans also reduce the overall cost of treatment.

As of January 1, 2022 New Channel Wellness is Out-of-Network with Cigna plans. If your plan covers acupuncture, payment is required at time of service and we will provide necessary documentation as a courtesy so that you may obtain reimbursement directly from the provider.
